Introducing Phone Free February
The global challenge building better phone habits
PhoneFreeFebruary is a global campaign that aims to promote healthier smartphone use by challenging you to go without your phone for the month of February.
While phones help us achieve many important tasks, they are also designed to keep us hooked. This highly addictive design has us checking our phones an average of 221 times every day.
PhoneFreeFebruary is for everyone! Whether you’re an individual wanting to take time to challenge your usual phone relationship, or a community or business leader seeking to change the status quo, you can get involved in our campaign.
Really simply. Just pick a level (phone-free or phone-flex) and join us this coming February. Make sure to sign up via our form and encourage your friends to join in!
PhoneFreeFebruary challenges you to change the way you use your phone throughout February 2025. Join a like-minded community and spend a month to renegotiate the relationship you have with your handheld devices.
PhoneFreeFebruary is set up and run by 2 phone activist volunteers: Charlotte and Jacob. We run the campaign under the umbrella of the Global Solidarity Foundation – a nonprofit campaigning across a number of important social issues.
